Big time. And if you aren’t yet, why not go visit a place where you get introduced?
And guess what, you can get as close as this!
A great place to visit here in Ireland is the Irish Raptor Research Centre in Ballymote, Co. Sligo. First and foremost a research centre and sanctuary dedicated to rehabilitation of birds into the wild, parts of it have been opened to the public. I was there yesterday and the love, care and dedication to these beautiful animals is wonderful to experience. On my next visit I’ll ask Lothar Muschketat all the questions that I forgot to ask yesterday.
In the meantime, I think the pictures below give you some idea as to why I want to visit again.
No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings. (William Blake)
The eagle, he was lord above. (William Wordsworth)
